What I Do
There is a lot more that goes into producing a great product than just eye catching design and creativity. Each project requires the right foundation based on facts about who your audience is and what the best means are by which to catch their attention and build their trust.
A large part of what I do involves ensuring that what you want is also what you need. I not only bring a creative and fresh design style, but I also balance each step with an understanding of why it needs to be done.

In a world where modes of communication continually shift and change, it can be difficult to understand where to best invest your resources in advertising and branding. Branding
Branding is a careful combination of functionality, creativity and a whole lot of problem solving. It’s important to establish your branding early, and consistently apply it. You need to know not only who you are, but who you will be as you grow. Part of being the best is looking your best. I understand the importance of emphasizing who you are and what you do in a way that is appealing and unified as a whole across both print and web.
Web
Relatively speaking, the web is a new tool for reaching people. It’s not longer just about information but a combination of information and action. The web has undergone such dynamic changes in how the users and businesses coexist and operate together, that unless your web presence is up to date and relevant you may easily loose your competitive edge. It requires an attention to detail and an adaptive personality to properly represent your business on the web.
More specifically what I do:
I have extensive knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and many other coding languages. I also use a combination of Google analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and W3C compliance in order to ensure that your site functions properly. I also work with Wordpress, Joomla and other content managment systems.
No, it’s not dead, and yes, it’s incredibly vital to the life of your business.
Your presence must carry itself through the weight of print in order to establish a credability and a tangible effect. A simple print piece that is carefully designed and properly printed can have a powerful impact. Sometimes all it takes is a nudge from a professional business card, friendly post card, or a creative poster to move a person to act. Each piece I create is specific in it’s design to accomplish a particular goal.

My Affiliation
I am one half of a creative duo with Evan Briggs. We team up to work through each project, balancing each other out with creativity, functionality, and practicality.
We are are also part of a dynamic team of designers that work together at Small Planet Inc. I work as a sub contractor and a fellow creative. We have a unique team of designers and coders who have been working in the design industry for over 15 years. They bring with them not only award winning technique, but a tried and true work ethic.

Why Me
One thing that a design school cannot teach is how to have a passion for what you do. I enjoy both creating and looking at great designs. The first hour of my work day is reading through the top design blogs gleaning resources, styles, design ideas and staying up to date on current trends and techniques. Designing isn’t just something I do, it’s something I have a passion for. I balance functionality and creativity to create a design that both works and looks great.
